How does your cancellation fee work?

We strive to provide you with the best ride. But if you decide you don’t want it, you can cancel your ride within 2 minutes of Ola accepting your booking request, to avoid being charged a cancellation fee. After 2 minutes you may be charged a cancellation fee to compensate the driver for their efforts.

Similarly, if your driver has waited for 8 minutes or more after arriving at your pickup location and you have not yet arrived, you will be charged a cancellation fee.
